Hi there. Welcome to Tarcy Chen.com, here is a brief introduction about me.

I was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, the island of Technology and OEMs. I am a long time advertising veteran, my career started after graduating from Chinese Culture University where I majored in Advertising. I have worked for advertising powerhouses Saatchi & Saatchi, J. Walter Thompson and McCann Erickson where I gained extensive international marketing experience. Client lists include Intel, Nestle, Ford, etc. My primary capabilities included exploring consumer insights, product positioning/messaging, high level strategic planning, client relationships, new business and overseeing project management.

In 2006 I under went a major shift when I started working for the Koch Creative Group and later Jajo Inc. as an Account Executive in Wichita Kansas. My role included communications planning and project coordination. Clients include all Koch companies (INVISTA, LYCRA, etc.) and Cox Business (Cable/Internet Provider).

In 2011 after circling the globe I settled in Austin Texas with my family where I am currently working for DunAn Microstaq, Inc., a cutting edge MEMS technology innovator in the HVAC, refrigeration and automotive industries. My present role is that of Administrative Assistant.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my pets (Dog#1 Luna, Dog#2 Moana, Cat Sun Kissed). I am a big time sushi and seafood lover. My passions include cooking, photography, food blogging, yoga, and playing ukulele. You can find my blog HERE.
